Wicken Parish Council was created in 1894. It has met continuously since that time, and a complete record of every meeting through to the present is contained in minute books held in the Cambridgeshire Archives at County Hall,Cambridge.
Parish Council Meetings generally take place
on the second Tuesday of every month, in the Village Hall at 19.30pm.
Parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you wish to raise an issue, contact one of the Councillors and ask for it to be placed on the agenda. There will be a 10 minute session at the beginning of each meeting when parishioners may ask questions or raise topics for discussion.
If you have a complaint about a Councillor or the Council you can view our complaints procedure and download a complaint form here.
Alternatively, you may contact the Clerk who will advise you of the process.
The Parish accounts for the financial year 2017/2018 have been audited by a firm of external auditors. The figures were posted on this website and on the notice board earlier this year but if you would like to take another look at them, and the auditors comments, please click here
